ABOUT THE U.A.N.V.B-S.C. "Raptor"

The UANVB-SC (Ultra-Light Articulating Night Vision Binocular – Single Control) combines lessons from previous Nocturn Industries models with user feedback. It features an ergonomic, single control knob for power and gain adjustment. Double tapping the knob activates the IR Illuminator, with an indicator showing when it’s on. The brightness of the IR Illuminator can be adjusted while it’s active. A low battery indicator will notify users when it’s time to replace batteries. The Raptor supports standard EGAC MX-11769 and 3-pad MX-11769 image intensifier tubes, as well as PVS-14 optics and accessories. It includes an on-board battery compartment and an out-board 00B LEMO power port. The image tube pod is interchangeable with Talon/Talon-R models. Additionally, low-profile IPD knobs allow easy tool-free adjustment. The UANVB-SC Raptor is fully designed and assembled in the US.

Full Suite of Features

The UANVB-SC "Raptor" contains all the features one would expect from a modern night vision binocular housing. Including IR Illuminator, manual gain control, individual pod on/off and external power. Power, manual gain and IR Illuminator are all controlled by a single knob located on the front of the housing.

Newly Designed IPD Stops

The new low-profile knobs located on the rear of the device
allow users to easily adjust the IPD of the device. These are a hard stop toolless design.

Modular Design

The ability to switch from a binocular configuration to the UNVM "Talon" monocular with the removal of four screws and unplugging of an EGAC cable makes going between configurations a breeze.
