Bridge system for the U.A.N.V.M. "Tanto" that delivers a unique field adaptable monocular to binocular system in minutes.
The Tanto Articulating Powered Bridge (T.A.P.B.), known as the “Daisho,” is the bridge mount for the U.A.N.V.M. “Tanto.” With one T10 tool, two Tanto monoculars can be combined into a dedicated binocular system without compromising weight savings or functionality.
The innovative design allows users to transform the Tanto monoculars into an articulating binocular system in under a minute or revert back to two independent monoculars to share with a partner (requires any PVS-14 style J-Arm for monocular operation). To convert to binocular mode, simply remove the battery cap and battery, insert the bridge into the battery compartment, and tighten the rear clamp screws the system is ready for use.
The Daisho bridge supports single-battery operation for both tubes, includes optional built-in IPD stops, and allows individual pod power on/off when articulated to the side, similar to the functionality of the U.A.N.V.B. “Katana.” A LEMO 2-pin power port is standard on all Daisho bridges.
For specialized applications, panned variants are available in 10°, 15°, and 20° configurations, providing flexible options for different operational needs.
Every Nocturn Industries bridge comes with a lifetime warranty, because we don’t just build durable systems, we stand behind them forever
Lifetime repair or replacement of all bridge components no questions asked.
(Does not cover damages to intensifier tubes or lens assemblies)
Wondering why you should choose the T.A.P.B. "Daisho?
Each "Daisho" bridge comes with Interpupillary Distance (I.P.D.) stops. These are the same stops featured on our "Katana" and "Manticore" housings.
Our bridges are backed with a Lifetime Warranty guarantee.
When two U.A.N.V.M. "Tanto" are added to this bridge you can articulate them like a standard binocular housing. Each side will turn off when articulated up.
End users can adjust the Interpupillary Distance (IPD) to the desired setting without tools.
The T.A.P.B. "Daisho" comes standard with a LEMO 00-B 2-pin for external power delivery.
With a Torx bit screwdriver and 1 minute you can go from a monocular to a binocular setup. Go back to a monocular setup at anytime with ease.
