U.A.N.V.B.- O.C.R. "Samurai Ruggedized"
Full feature binocular that houses all control switches on the battery pack at the rear of the helmet machined from 7075-T6 aerospace grade aluminum.
The Ultralight Articulating Night Vision Binocular Out-board Control Ruggedized (UANVB-OCR) "Samurai-Ruggedized" is a lightweight, durable binocular system made from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum. It features outboard controls that can be accessed through a control pack. The design, crafted using advanced CNC machining, is ultra-light yet strong, and includes a single-piece pod for added durability.
The "Samurai" binocular system is unique because it moves all controls and power to the rear of the helmet, allowing users to adjust settings without losing situational awareness or control of their weapon. This setup also distributes the weight more evenly across the head, reducing neck strain during extended use.
Key features include manual gain control, individual pod shutdown, adjustable pod tension, an IR illuminator, and low battery alerts. There are various control packs available with analog or digital controls, and different power options (2x CR123A or 4x AA batteries), offering 50+ or 60+ hours of continuous use.
