The Ultralight Articulating Panoramic Night Vision Goggle – Bridge – Powered (U.A.P.N.V.G.-B-P), known as the “Chimera Bridge Powered,” represents the next evolution in panoramic Night Vision Goggle (N.V.G.) technology. This patented system is the first articulating bridge upgrade available for existing quad-tube devices, combining panoramic performance with a compact, ergonomic design.

The Chimera Bridge Powered achieves the lowest possible profile among panoramic N.V.G. configurations by allowing the pods to stow rearward toward the helmet, resulting in a silhouette comparable to articulating binocular systems. This design innovation reduces neck strain and fatigue by shifting the center of gravity closer to the user’s natural neck pivot point, improving comfort during extended wear.

Each panoramic pod attached to the Chimera Bridge Powered can be stowed independently without fully folding the system. This capability provides significant operational advantages, including improved clearance through doorways and vehicle interiors, reduced snag hazards in dense environments, faster transitions between environments, and the ability to maintain immediate access to night vision or integrate with weapon-mounted optics and thermal systems.

The bridge is available with multiple baseplate configurations, offering users flexibility between LEMO 2-pin, Fischer 4-pin, or a non-powered baseplate for onboard power operation. The system is fully plug-and-play at the user level and compatible with L3 GPNVG-18 pods, allowing seamless integration with existing equipment.
